Since the early days of pure Hip Hop, Funk, Soul & DnB; White Nite has developed a great appreciation for the electronic left-of-centre – spinning everything from downtempo, beat music, dubstep and trapped out sounds to house, garage, footwork, jersey and the 130ish Bass sounds of the present.

DAVE Q (DUB WAR / NYC)
New York veteran DJ/Producer Dave Q was best known for founding America’s first ever Dubstep night, Dub War. Throughout it’s lifetime, this legendary club night hosted a who’s-who of Dubstep and forward thinking Bass acts from around the globe.
Recently named top resident DJ in New York City by Red Bull, it is evident that Dave has not rested on his laurels. Apart from literally introducing the USA to Dubstep back in the mid 2000s, he was also one of the earliest proponents of the Chicago footwork sound in New York.

MCULO (FADED / UK)
Daniel Schey, (known as Mculo) is at the forefront of the intertwining dance and electronic music scene. Residing in London, he links continent with continent, creating distinctive and intricate rhythms, melodies and arrangements taking elements from traditional African sounds and moulding them with a forward-thinking techno sensibility. Mculo intertwines his groove inspired sound with influences ranging across the globe from Berlin and Johannesburg to Detroit and LA.
As a founding member of Faded, a Nottingham based party he honed his DJ skills playing along side names such as French Fries, Levon Vincent, Dusky and Scuba to name a few. With releases on Cool Kid Music and Just Recordings and further releases lined up for 2014 we are expecting a big year ahead for this young artist.

HYPHEN
Making the cut as one of South Africa’s top 30 DJ’s in the official DJ Mag poll , Hyphen has been at the heart of the Bass uprising in our fine Republic of South Africa for years.
The D&B faithful have grown to know and trust this selekta who’s been hosting The Sublime Drum & Bass Show on Bush Radio 89.5fm since 2002, which continues to be the benchmark for Bass culture on the airwaves in SA today.
Now held in high regard for his spine-bending D&B and mixed genre sets alike, Hyphen is more than just a DJ. Having released his first vinyl offering “Visions” alongside SFR on the world-renowned European label Zombie Recordings. Feel free to scream when you watch him play.

FUNAFUJI
Cape Town’s first lady of Bass. Funafuji rose to prominence as one of the founders of legendary Long Street club night, Step Up. She has since developed into an extremely adept selector, able to spin virtually any combination of genres convincingly.
This will be one of her last sets in Cape Town before departing for New York in Jan – do not miss!
